Arizona Releases Request for Proposal (RFP) for All Unix Computing Needs  

(PHOENIX -- November 13, 2001)  The State of Arizona Government Information Technology Agency, working with the State of Arizona Procurement Office, announced the release of a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Unix Hardware, Software, Peripherals and Services (AD020050).   

“The Unix Hardware, Software, Peripherals and Services solicitation is comprehensive and designed to seek responses to meet all of the State's Unix computing needs,” said John Adler, Director for the Arizona State Procurement Office (SPO).   

Rick Zelznak, State of Arizona Chief Information Officer said, "By addressing all of our needs in one solicitation, we are enabling our agencies to do business with a core group of vendors who can meet all of our wide ranging needs. State agencies, cities, counties, schools, universities and others will be able to purchase Unix hardware, software, peripherals, installation, maintenance, consulting and training from this one contract."  

A pre-proposal conference for the Unix Hardware, Software, Peripherals and Services (AD020050) RFP will be held on November 19, 2001 at 1:00 p.m. at the Arizona State Procurement Office, 15 South 15th Ave, Suite 103, Phoenix AZ 85007.  Proposals are due to the State Procurement Office by November 29, 2001 at 3:00 p.m. M.S.T.
