The Public Safety Interoperable Communications Office (PSIC) is accepting feedback regarding Arizona's 2010 Technical Assistance (TA) request. Please submit written comments by August 26th. In particular, we are interested in your feedback on:
Which assistance requests should be given higher priority?
Which assistance requests should not be prioritized?
Which requests could best support your existing 2010 interoperability initiatives?
Background
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of Emergency Communications, Interoperable Communications Technical Assistance Program (OEC/ICTAP) supports and promotes the ability of emergency responders and government officials to continue to communicate in the event of natural disasters, acts of terrorism, or other man-made disasters, and works to ensure, accelerate, and attain operable and interoperable emergency communications nationwide. In 2009, Arizona was awarded three TA requests: GOV-ASMT: Governance Assessment; SOP-DEV: AIRS SOP Development; and OP-TTX: Yuma Communications Focused Table Top Exercise.
