Microsoft Licensing Changes
Microsoft (MS) announced changes to their licensing programs in May 2001 and
October 2001 that impacted all Microsoft customers worldwide. The State of
Arizona has developed documentation to assist AZ state agencies, cities,
counties, etc. to assess the impact of these changes on their operations and
to understand the State of Arizona’s agreements with Microsoft.
The Government Information Technology Agency (GITA) provides this information
solely to assist State governmental organizations with statewide contract
information. GITA does not endorse the use of any particular vendor’s
products as is evidenced by its vendor-neutral
policies, standards and procedures for
technology products.
