Telecommunications Privatization

Motion to go into Executive Session.

Reconvened regular session

 

Procurement Approval with Conditions as follows:

 

1.      ADOA/TPO must provide GITA and ITAC with a quarterly status report indicating accomplishments, expenditures and savings during the prior three months and year-to-date, and a forecast of planned activities, expenditures and savings for the ensuing three months.

 

2.      Staffing for the Help Desk, State Switch Board, Security Services and TPO should, to the greatest extent practicable, be drawn from existing FTEs currently assigned to ADOA/ATS, other ADOA departments, and other State agencies, to avoid a net increase in State FTEs, provide continuity of service, and minimize impacts on State personnel.

 

3.      The TPO must identify tangible deliverables to be developed by the TSP during the first 60-90 days of the contract, such that in the event the State terminates the contract, the State will receive work products that may be adapted and/or employed in subsequent telecommunications upgrades.
